The installations I have designed, produced and installed, in both commercial buildings and private homes, range from a group of three wall monoliths to a 16 foot by 4 1/2 foot wall.

Each project begins with a discussion between the client and myself and, when possible, a site visit.  After gathering the input from all interested parties I develop a proposal, time line and budget.  A large installation can take several months from the intitial discussions to final installation.

LEED* certification for building projects has risen in popularity in the last few years.  I am able to work with glass recovered from buildings scheduled for remodeling or reconstruction or with glass reclaimed from my local sources.  In either case additional LEED points can be acheived by using recycled content and/or locally sourced materials.  I am also able to use the reclaimed/recycled glass to produce recognition awards for key people in the project or for fundraising efforts. The Red Wing Technical College, in Red Wing Minnesota,  is the location of this free standing sculpture.

The piece is 80 inches tall with a footprint of 14 inches by 16 inches.  The stone base was reclaimed from a school in Superior Wisconsin and the glass was reclaimed from a commercial building in Duluth Minnesota.  The "tiles" of kiln formed glass were bevel cut and mounted to an internal armature to accomplish this sculpture.

"Five Monoliths" is located in the Technology Village at Lake and Superior in Duluth Minnesota.

The limestone bases are 12 inches square by 54 inches tall and the glass pieces are 36 inches tall.  Both the stone and the glass were reclaimed from local buildings.

Commissioned for a private residence in the Minneapolis Minnesota area, this piece consists of five wall monoliths that are 36 inches tall by 5 inches wide.  The stairwell wall space is about 8 feet wide.

Commissioned for a private residence in the Des Moines Iowa area this piece adds a splash of color and feel of texture to a bathroom area.  Moisture and high humidity have no negative impact on this art work.  Each monolith is 24 inches by 4 inches.
